MAKE A DIFFERENCE

In 2007 and 2008, we continued our long-standing collaboration with WVIZ/PBS by  producing a series of short profiles of "regular folks" who support a variety of different charitable causes.  You can see all of the profiles at www.wviz.org, just click on the Make A Difference button or go directly to http://wviz.org/make/index.shtml

PARTNERING WITH NON-PROFITS

The mission of BB Sound & Light is to develop high-quality documentary programming for video and television, exploring meaningful topics in a positive, interesting, and non-exploitive manner.  So that means that we tend to do a lot of work with non-profit organizations, particularly those in Northeast Ohio.

Current and recent projects include new organizational videos for the Antioch Development Corporation, Building Hope in the City, Care Alliance Health Center, Cleveland Lutheran High School Association, Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry, and the Oak Clinic for Multiple Sclerosis.  We urge you to support each of these worthwhile groups.

SPORTS TIME OHIO

We continue to work with Sports Time Ohio producing, Where Are They Now? and Pride of Ohio spots that play on the statewide television network.  Profiles you'll see on the air detail the post-sports careers of Browns players Frank Ryan, Bubba Baker and Tom Cousineau.  We also found out what former Tribe pitcher Tom Candiotti is up to, as well as a new career for All Star Cavalier Larry Nance.  Sadly, our latest Pride of Ohio spot dealt with the passing of Cleveland Indians broadcaster and pitcher, Herb Score.  See the “Collaborations” page for the tribute to Herb Score.

MAGNET

We are enjoying our association with MAGNET, the Manufacturing Advocacy & Growth Network.  Their mission continues to be elevating the presence, strength and future of manufacturing in our area.  BB Sound & Light has helped to produce a number of video productions for MAGNET.  We look forward to working with them more in 2009.

LUTHERAN SCHOOLS

As part of our marketing work with all the Lutheran schools in the area, we maintain a joint website, www.Jesus4students.com <http://www.jesus4students.com/> . There are several other videos on the school's website that we produced.

HAITI MISSION WORK

We continue to support mission projects in Haiti.  In fact, Luanne is hoping to return to Haiti this year to Jacmel to help establish new ministries there.   One of our fund-raisers is a "green products" organization that gives a portion of the proceeds toward our mission trips -- http://www.letsgogreen.biz.  Just select our Haiti mission fund as your charity of choice.   We also have a short video of Ile a Vache  on YouTube so you can getter a better idea of the place.  Here’s the link to “Giving Hope 1” - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZndIWoegDA

OUR STORY

Bob Becker and Luanne Bole-Becker form a video production team that specializes in producing television documentaries and high-quality marketing and educational videos.  They have won Emmy, Telly, and Silver Apple awards for their work, which has been featured in numerous film festivals, as well as on PBS and CBS nationwide.

Bob and Luanne have produced everything from award-winning documentaries  to ongoing series’ segments to organizational videos and commercials. 

Bob and Luanne’s production credits reflect a choice of projects that have a positive impact on both our culture and our community.

Luanne is also a nationally-published author, while Bob can be seen and heard regularly as a WTAM Radio talk show host and as a television host of the Ohio Lottery.
